Frequently Asked Questions
I’ve seen a lot of advertisements for “3 Day Potty Training Guarantees.” Does your course offer this?
No, and this is what makes my course different. Sure, there are children who can learn to potty train within a few days, but the truth of the matter is, it usually takes a bit longer than that. Every child is different and each child will therefore learn differently. It is ridiculous to “claim” that you can teach ANY child how to potty train in just 3 days, as that is not logical. Don’t fall for the “quick” gimmicks or you may be dealing with regression before you know it!
How long (after purchasing your book) will it take to see significant results?
Some children can learn in a matter of days, some a week, some a month. It really depends on your child and how quickly he learns and becomes comfortable with everything. The main thing is NOT to rush the process and let everything happen naturally. Just follow everything in my guide and you should see improvements sooner than you think.
How old does my child have to be before I can start potty training him?
The normal “range” is between 18 months up to 3 years. However, this is just a standard “guide” and is by no means a “rule.” There are a great number of things you should be more concerned about than just your child’s age. You must be sure your child is “developmentally” ready. Many parents make the mistake of “thinking” their child is ready because he reaches a certain age, then begin to “force” the potty training. This is definitely NOT recommended as it will most likely lead to regression.
If my child is really stubborn, will your guide still be able to help him?
Absolutely! I have dealt with a great number of stubborn children in the past. The key is to be patient with them, but just follow the steps I outline in Chapter 12, and this should help you get through your child’s stubbornness and resistance.
Both my husband and I work full-time and our child is in day care. How can we coordinate this with the day care provider?
Great question! With so many families having both parents working, it can be tough to get the potty training process moving. However, if you’re able to make a plan and let the day care provider know all the details, it can be done! I have outlined everything on this popular topic in Chapter 6 of my book.
Is there anything I’ll need to buy (besides your book) to start potty training or can I just dive right in and get my little rascal going?
Well, there are a number of products you should buy to help the process flow more smoothly. Things such as potties, pull ups, flushable wipes, and eventually underwear are all going to be essential. I cover in detail all these things and which things may work better than the other, etc. I also go over additional resources that you may consider purchasing to help make the potty training process more “fun” for both you and your child.
I have twin boys. Will I be able to potty train them together?
If they are both “developmentally” ready, then yes. However, I have potty trained a number of twins who potty trained completely differently than one another. You can get all the details in Chapter 10, as well as by following the checklist in the Resource packet.
My little girl is autistic. Will your book be able to help me?
Yes, I do cover potty training autistic and special needs children. The process can be a bit more challenging, but the successes are even more special for both you and your child. You have to be able to appreciate the process for the marvel that it is. The entire process is covered in Chapter 11.
I potty trained my child recently and he’s begun to have a lot of accidents recently. Has he regressed? If so, why has this happened?
Regression is every parent’s worst fear, but unfortunately it can happen. First, you must discover the cause of it, then plan how you will handle the situation. You have to be sure not to become overly upset and show your frustrations with your child, as that could make things even worse. Be sure to read Chapter 12 as this covers Regression.
If I buy your book and it doesn’t work, can I get a refund?
I know that this may not work for 100% of the children out there, but I do know that my methods have worked for about 98% of the children I have potty trained. But again, for whatever reason after going through all the steps in my book, if your child falls in the 2% range and nothing seems to work for him, then simply contact me and let me know. I would definitely like to talk you through it and see if I can offer any additional help/advice. However, if you're still not satisfied and if you inquire for a refund within 60 days of your purchase, I’ll gladly refund you 100% of your money.
What types of payment do you accept? Will my information be secure?
I use Paypal to process my payments, although you do not need a Paypal account to place your order. All major credit cards are accepted (American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Discover) as well. And yes, your information will be secure. Your financial information will not be shared with me, and you will receive an email receipt with your transaction number from Paypal upon completing your order.
Can I place my order by phone?
Unfortunately I don't have a system in place at this time to accept phone orders, so the only way to order currently is online through Paypal.
I don’t see the answer to my question here. How can I contact you?
You may contact me anytime at support@pottytrainingart.com. I’ll do my best to answer your questions ASAP, but at least within 1-2 days.
